I am constantly amazed by the life that I have.  I live in Sherman Oaks, CA with my wife and two kids, Jayelle - 13, and Jonathan - 11.  Traci and I have been married for twenty years, and are becoming better friends with every passing year.  We met in college, and she was dumb enough to marry me, which I am very grateful for.

We moved to Los Angeles so that Traci could get her Master's at USC.  We became Christians shortly after moving here in 1993.  We both worked as professional musicians until 2000, when we were given the opportunity to go into the ministry full time.  We now serve the Turning Point Church (www.turningpointla.com) working with families and the music ministry.  It is an incredible church and God keeps teaching us new things every year. 

I love playing music and still play every chance I get.  Most of my gigs are salsa and Latin music, which is so much fun. 

My latest passion is our newfound relationship with the International Church of Christ in San Salvador, El Salvador.  I had the privilege of taking mission teams there in November 2009, May 2010, and October 2010, and it changed my life.  We have started programs in the church here to raise money to help the church there, in addition to our annual missions offering that we take every year to help support all the churches in Mexico and Central America.  My favorite program is the Becas Program which is helping nine college students attend college and break the cycle of poverty in their families.  I am planning two more trips to El Salvador in 2011 and have begun working diligently on my Spanish, though I have a long way to go! 

I really do have the greatest job in the world, and can't imagine doing anything else.  I love hanging with my family.  I have incredible friends.  Life is good.
